- Parker is talking. Talking! She has spent the entire afternoon laying, alternately, on her belly and back, just chatting away to anything that will listen. Me. The dogs. Her toys. The ceiling.
- Bath time gets more and more fun everyday (well, every other day when it happens). She now loves to look at herself in the mirror as she splashes and kicks.
- It’s really easy to stop myself from eating too much now that I am writing everything down. Who wants their husband to glance at a food journal and notice that their wife has eaten ice cream three times before dinner? Not that I have ever done that.
- I am currently making homemade cornmeal pizza dough (well I already made it and it’s now rising) from popcorn corn meal we scooped up at the farmers market last night. Sounds interesting, right? I hope it’s good because I am hungry!
- We weighed Parker last night and she is a whopping 12 pounds! Which means as soon as our new Ergo carrier arrives (should be any day) we will be able to pop her in and go adventuring!

But, I had to tell you that when I read about the cornmeal pizza dough it reminded me of an episode of "drive-ins, diners, and dives" and guy was in loveee with this pizza and they put cornmeal in the dough! So, I hope its good…you'll have to let us know how it turns out
Hi Desi, nice to meet you! I think you may have commented once right after Parker was born, but I was too busy staring at her to notice much at that point! The pizza crust…pretty horrible (well not that bad really)…but I think it was because it was mainly whole wheat so I will be trying it again soon with more white flour and cornmeal and much less healthy whole wheat!
I have a six-month old son, and we use that same bathtub! He just transitioned over to the other side so he can sit up straight and splash more. We love it!
