My Love Affair With Europe (Part 1)

As I look back through my photos from our trip to Europe in July, it’s hard for be to believe that we have already been back well over a month. It was the kind of trip that I want to always remember, but since we have been going non-stop since we returned, it is already starting to fade into the background of my mind.

We arrived in Belgium early in the morning, after getting no sleep on the plane. We were all tired and in need of a good shower, but we had a few hours before our hotel room was available. So we headed into downtown Ghent, a charming little town on a river. As tired as I was, I couldn’t deny the old world charm and before I knew it, my camera was out and I was snapping away.

I love Europe! I haven't been since I was a teenager. Can't believe it's been that long. Maybe after I'm done having babies I will get to go again. For now I'll have to settle for a trip to Disney this summer and a visit to EPCOT! :)

My sister (who is an adult without kids for reference) LOVES Disney…she in fact…thinks she has been all over the world…but really…just tries to get to Epcot once a year. So what I'm saying is you will have a great, worldly time!

Belgium is one of my favorite places in the whole world!! There are so many beautiful things everywhere there… I lived there for eight months during high school. I was in Brussels but I toured a lot of it. Did you make it to Bruges? That is my favorite city in the world. :) Beautiful pictures!
